House and outbuilding, now with stable at rear. Early C19 with
later C19 and C20 alterations. Coursed gritstone with
herring-bone tooling, red brick in 1:4 garden wall bond on
left return; stone slate roof to front, small blue slates to
rear.
2-storey, 2-bay house with single-storey bay right. House has
central door and flanking windows to ground and 1st floors,
large sawn-stone sills and lintels, ridge stack right. Right
bay has a small window with sawn stone lintel on left.
Irregular C19 and C20 casements. Rear: right bay projects,
blocked cart entrance with flat voussoir arch, now stable door
and window. Windows left and above as front.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Possibly the Park farmhouse, adapted as the gardener's cottage
for the Roundhay Park estate, with gardens on south, altered
when the estate was bought by Leeds Corporation in 1872.
