School chapel. 1868. By EM Barry. Coursed gritstone,
decorative fish-scale slate roof, steep pitch. Gothic Revival
style. Gabled ends, buttresses set back from corners with open
corner turrets. Quatrefoil pierced parapet. Decorated window
tracery: 5-light E window, 2-light to sides. 'West' end
entrance with paired doors, decorated strap hinges, attached
granite columns, deep hoodmoulding, rose window above, gable
copings, cross finials.
INTERIOR: 6 bays, attached columns, 4 steps up to choir,
stalls carved by Thomas of Kilburn, W end gallery has panelled
front with trefoil piercings, original benches.
