Entrance lodge. 1862. Red brick and stucco with stone dressings, brick rear lateral stack and slate hipped roof Tudor Revival style. Single-depth plan.
EXTERIOR: single storey; 4-window range. Rectangular block with lower front 2-window bay, stucco plinth with roll-top moulding, string, and roll-top coping to crenellated parapet. Label mouldings to flat-headed windows with stucco chamfered mullion and transom windows; stack has moulded corbelling to top section. The crenellations step down to enclose rear yard. INTERIOR: not inspected.
A pair with the East Lodge, and part of a group with the NW gateway forming the W entrance to the Royal Military Academy (qqv).
