Lamp-post. Probably made in about 1901-4 by Singer. Cast-iron fluted standard with pedestal mouldings, tapered shaft and ladder-rests, with moulded finial above, on top of which is a crook-shaped lamp bracket with wrought-iron Art Nouveau leaf decoration; the lamp is modern. The lamp standard appears to have been made for gas lighting and adapted for electricity. It is similar to other listed lamp-posts in Frome.
