Pair of suburban villas. Mid C19. Flemish bond brown brick;
hipped grey slate roof.
2 storeys, 4 windows. The ground floor has inserted early C20
canted bay window, left; two 14-panel doors with 1-pane
overlights in a stucco case with paired pilasters to each side
and centre, frieze and dentil cornice; slightly recessed
12-pane sash with stone sill and cornice lintel. The first
floor has 4 slightly recessed sashes with a gauged brick flat
arch to No.29, but covered as if a wedge lintel to No.27;
flush chimneys at ends. The left side of No.29 has 2
window-openings to ground floor and a 12-pane sash to first
floor. The right side of No.27, with similar features, not
clearly visible.
