Undercroft shop, Row shop and accommodation now storage.
Rebuilt late C19 on site of former undercroft and town house.
Timber-framed front with plaster panels; brick to rear; grey
slate roof at right-angle to front.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys including undercroft and Row, plus attic.
The street-level shopfront is a continuation of that to No.22

the Row walk, with small sgraffiti in plaster panels. The Row
walk and Row shopfront have no features of special interest.
The third storey, directly above the face of the Row-front

panes with keyblocks above transoms of central lights; a
close-studded panel to each side of each oriel, with a cross
rail. The gable, jettied on 3 shaped brackets, has a row of 12
shaped panels, a pair of 2-light mullioned leaded casements
with curved herringbone bracing to each side and a jettied
collar with straight herringbone struts above; moulded
bargeboards and finial; small-framed east return.
INTERIOR: the shops have all features covered. The upper rooms
could not be inspected, but the third storey is stated to have
plan and some doors and mouldings intact and the attic to have
no features of special interest; the visible features of the
cellar late C19 and C20.
