House. Early C19, fully restored post-1991. Brown brick, laid
to Flemish bond to front, and lined-out plaster to south end
wall; hipped roof with slate covering behind low parapet. 2
storeys, 2 bays above a red sandstone plinth. Semicircular
headed doorway with painted stone surround, radial bar
fanlight and 4-panel door with fielded panels. Flanking the
doorway are glazing bar window to both floors, 6 over 6 panes,
set beneath painted wedge lintels and upon a sillband at first
floor level, and upon ground floor sills. Eaves cornice of
painted stone with Greek key pattern frieze. Single flush
chimney to north, two similar to south end. South end with
doorway and first-floor sash window, 3 over 6 panes.
The house abuts No.1 Nuns Road (qv).
