Town house, unoccupied when inspected. Probably mid C18.
Flemish bond yellow-brown brick; grey slate roof, hipped to
street corner.
3 storeys. The front to Watergate Street has a red sandstone
plinth, 2 tripartite sashes of 4;12;4 panes with painted stone
sills and cambered arches of reddish gauged brick to first and
second storeys; casements inserted in third storey window
openings; modillion stone cornice; chimney at each end; the
entrance is to Linenhall Street, with door of 4
bolection-moulded panels with 3-pane overlight in a simple
pedimented doorcase. 2 small-pane street windows in wood
sub-frames are in inserted chamber-arched openings right of
door; 2 street-framed casements in original camber-arched sash
openings in second storey; a 12-pane flush sash and a sash
altered to 6 panes with painted sills and timber lintels in
third storey; an eaves facia-board. The rear gable-end is
cement rendered, with a replaced door and a replaced metal
casement to each storey.
