Row of 3 houses. Dated 'John Clayton 1770' on brick to left hand side of
centre doorway; possibly older core. Red brick, roof with plaintiles to front
and pantiles to rear, crest tiles to ridge. 2 storeys and attic. 6 window
range, mainly 2-light small pane casements, flat brick arches with raised keys.
3 doorways; Tinker's Cottage: 6-panel door, the upper 4 panels glazed; Old
Post Office: half-glazed door; Ivy Cottage: inset 6-panel bolection moulded
door, panelled reveals. 3 C19 gabled dormers with diamond pane windows and
ornamental barge boards.
