Former inn, now 2 private dwellings. Early C19. Red brick, slated roof. 3
storeys. 5-bay facade, the left hand bay angled slightly back around the
corner; the bays are divided by brick pilasters. Sash windows with glazing
bars in flush frames, slightly cambered brick arches; the first and third bays
from the left were altered in mid C20 by the insertion of tripartite sash
windows on the ground floor. The fourth bay has a segmental-arched
carriageway entrance. 2 doorways: to the second bay an inset C19 half-glazed
door, panelled reveals, semi-circular fanlight with glazing bars and broad
shouldered architrave; to the right hand bay a C19 half-glazed door with
panelled surround and 2 small mid C20 windows to either side.
