3 houses, now shops and offices. C17 origins with late C18 front. Timber framed
core clad in colourwashed render on the front, fishscale tile hanging on left hand
return front, wooden shop fronts below and 3 parallel-range,hipped plain tiled
roofs above obscured by parapets and end-on to street. Three storeys, symmetrical
5 bay facade with end stacks. Central canted bay oriel rising through first and
second floors, modillioned eaves cornice above. 12-pane glazing-bar sash
fenestration with four windows on each floor, two either side of central oriel,
the first floor windows with no glazing bars in lower sash light. 12-pane glazing-
bar sash windows in canted bay, modillioned cornice across the first floor. Deep
fascia across the ground floor with architrave moulding and zig-zag band. Plate
glass shop fronts on ground floor, that to right with panelled piers. 4-centre
arched entrance on Jacobean style pilasters, doubled, glazed doors to rear of
central recess.
Interior:- largely altered. Staircase moved to link first and second floors,
originally brought from Weston Lodge, Albury.
