Pair of semi-detached houses. Early C19. Brick in Flemish bond
with roof of slate.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and 2 dormers each, over basement. 3
windows each. Entrances paired at centre, reached up stairs
set into Doric prostyle porches; semicircular overlights. Pair
of segmental-arched windows to basement area, which is railed.
Gauged brick lintels to flat-arched windows above, 2x2 sashes
with margin lights of an original design. Bricks treated as
corner quoins; brick entablature; broad, boxed eaves. Some
alterations to the original roof; the present dormers are of
later date. High stack to party wall and returns, where the
gable end finishes as crowstepped gable.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: spearhead railings to basement area and
stout wall piers to return and alleyway.
Forms a pair with Nos 1 & 2 (qv).
