Keepers' box and approximately 270m of sunken wall running
south-east from the box. c1840s. Red-purple brick, hut with
tiled conical roof with overhanging bracketed eaves,
terracotta finial and chimney-stack. Window with glazing bars.
Renewed door and lintel. INTERIOR: not inspected.
HISTORICAL NOTE: probably built to demarcate the south-western
boundary of Sir Thomas Maryon Wilson's East Park estate. The
1894 Ordnance Survey map identifies the box as a police hut.
