Detached house with later addition. Early C18 with 1848
addition (No.10A) on south side. Brown brick with red brick
dressings. 3 storeys and semi-basement. Double-fronted with 5
windows. Stone doorcase with Ionic columns, pulvinated frieze
and block bracketed pediment; panelled door approached by
steps. Gauged red brick segmental arches to flush sashes with
exposed boxing. Plain brick bands at 1st and 2nd floor level.
Brick cornice below parapet.
No.10A: single storey rising to 3rd floor level of No.10.
Brown brick with red brick dressings. Single large
round-arched window with gauged red brick head and impost
bands continuing around extension to meet 1st floor band of
No.10. Plain brick band below parapet.
INTERIOR: not inspected but No.10 noted to retain good
panelling and original staircase.
