Lodge and entrance gates. c1838-9. By Stephen Geary. Stucco.
Tudor Gothick style. Single storey. Double fronted with 2
windows. Entrance with chamfered reveals and plank door
flanked by buttresses each with 2 off-sets. 2-light casements
with chamfered reveals. Parapet with coping rising to form 2
pediments flanking a central stepped pediment with carved
figure in shallow niche; string below. Right hand buttressed
return with similar entrance. INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached yellow brick piers with stone
caps and cast-iron gates.
