GV II

Terraced house. Early C19. Stucco. Gambrel roof of tile.
3 storeys and dormers over basement. 2-window range. Entrance
paired with that to No.35 (qv), round arched with fanlight;
architrave, interrupted by impost blocks and keystone
decorated with wreath. Full-height canted bay with tripartite,
flat-arched windows; original sashes gone. Above entrance is
one blocked, flat-arched window to each floor. Entablature and
parapet; single flat-arched dormer. Stack to party wall.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Plaque near entrance reads: "George Jacob Holyoake, Social
Reformer and Co-operator, Lived Here from 1881 to His Death in
1906".
