Lamp post in front of No.29

Gas standard in front of No.29 (not included). Designed in the
1880s, possibly cast as late as 1930; converted to electric
light in late C19 or early C20. Cast-iron and another metal.
Octagonal, panelled socle; tapering octagonal shaft, panelled
to match base; simple coved capital; single maintenance arm.
Tudor in style. The timing mechanism, or clock box above is
marked BLEECO and forms a base for swan-neck, tubular bracket.
The latter is braced by a metal fillet in the form of a
tendril. Shallow dish reflector.
