Terraced houses, Nos 18 and 19 now a single property. Late C18
or early C19 with later C19 fronts. Stucco scored as ashlar,
roof obscured by parapet.
3 storeys over basement, 2 windows each. Steps up to
round-arched entrances, that to No.18 now altered to a window.
No.19 has a doorcase consisting of panelled pilasters,
brackets, entablature, open pediment with dentil cornice and
fanlight. No.20 has a doorcase of engaged Doric columns,
entablature, open pediment with dentil cornice, fanlight and
panelled door of original design.
All windows flat-arched; 3-storey canted bays with mullions
having stepped capitals, the frames to former No.18 having
quadrant corners; parapet to Nos 18-19, simple entablature and
blocking course to No.20; stacks to party walls.
Left-hand return of former No.18 decorated with a pattern of
rough and smooth render.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Cast-iron railings to steps and area of No.20.
Nos 19 & 20 were listed on 20.8.71.
