Terrace of 3 houses. c1830-40 with later additions and
alterations. Pinkish-brown brick with painted stucco to front
facade and Welsh slate roof. Single Classical design has
full-height Tuscan pilasters with recessed panels to ends and
between windows.
2 storeys with attics, 5 first-floor windows arranged 2-2-1.
First floor has two 3/6 sashes, two 2/2 sashes and 3/6 sash,
plain reveals, sills.
Ground floor: entrances below 2nd, 4th and 5th first-floor
windows. 3 steps to part-glazed, part-panelled doors;
doorcases: No.9 has fielded pilasters, frieze, pediment, No.13
has similar with half of pediment that originally extended
across No.11, now replaced by Gothic porch. Ground floor has
bay windows, Nos 9 and 13 (alike) have 2/2 sash between 1/1
sash; otherwise bay has three 1/1 sashes, dentil cornice and
fielded panels below. Frieze, cornice, low parapet. Skylights.
End and ridge stacks. Raised ridges between each house.
INTERIOR: staircase to No.9 has stick balusters.
