Aviary. Late C19. Ashlar, brick, cast-iron and timber, with
slate roof and tile floor. Single tall storey, with
balustraded 'portico' to aviary within. Stepped plinth.
Portico has openings to centre and angles with ornate,
latticed balustrade between and slender Composite columns
supporting frieze with round-arches to openings, raised
central pediment on paired columns has ornate latticed and
scrolling decoration, otherwise wide eaves. Hipped roof,
chamfered to angles. Mosaic tile floor. To each return are
three round-arched, multi-pane windows with similar columns
between. Hipped roof, chamfered to angles. Disused at time of
list review.
