Includes: No.4 BEAUCHAMP HILL.
Terrace of 4 houses, now house to left and flats, and attached
railings to right. c1828-1836 with later additions and
alterations. Reddish-brown brick with painted stucco facades,
scored in imitation of ashlar to left, with hipped cement-tile
roof to left and Welsh slate roof to right and with cast-iron
railings and balconies.
EXTERIOR: 2 ranges each of 3 storeys with basement and attics,
4 first-floor windows, with single-storey,
single-entrance-bays to returns and pair of single-storey
entrance bays between ranges.
First floor: 8-pane French windows with divided overlights
with tooled architraves to third and fourth and blind boxes to
fifth and sixth windows. Second floor: 6/6 sashes with sills,
tooled architraves and blind boxes as first floor.
Ground floor: 6/6 sashes with sills, tooled architraves and
blind boxes as first floor. All in plain reveals. Attics to
inner gables have 3/6 sashes. Otherwise attic gables with
casement windows.
Entrances, to centre, 6 roll-edged steps to 4-panel door and
part-glazed, 4-panel door with screen porch of fluted Doric
columns, door to No.2 set into frieze with divided overlight,
that to No.3 set behind screen, remains of dentil frieze.
Entrance to left (No.4 Beauchamp Hill): 4 roll-edged steps to
part-glazed, 4-panel door in solid porch with frieze, cornice
and blocking course. Entrance to right (No.4 Warwick Terrace):
4 roll-edged steps to part-glazed door in Doric screen, now
glazed in, frieze, cornice. Each range has frieze, cornice,
blocking course and copings. Tall left end stack with cornice
to each range. Right gable ends are 'pedimented' and have
blind window.
Left return to Beauchamp Hill: first floor has three 6/6
sashes. Second floor has three 6/6 sashes. Ground floor has
two 6/6 sashes. All in plain reveals and with sills. Main
facade: first floor continuous balustrades to each range have
decorative balusters.
INTERIOR: No.4 Warwick Terrace has dogleg staircase with
turned balusters to ground floor, otherwise with stick
balusters.

SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: area railings to right have fleur-de-lys
finials.
