Gas standard in front of No.18)

Gas standard. Mid to late C19, converted to electric light
standard in early C20. Cast-iron. Fluted tapering shaft rises
from pavement to cylindrical impost block. Single maintenance
arm projects from top at right angles to the shaft. Above a
rectangular circular box from which rises a swan-necked arm
with scroll bracket and shallow dish reflector.
