GV II

Terraced house. Early C19. Stucco. Roof obscured by parapet.
3 storeys and attic over basement. 2-window range. Ground
floor with banded, chamfered rustication. Storey band between
second floor and attic; plain band to attic. All windows flat
arched, those in first, second and attic floors with
architraves. First floor verandah in process of
reconstruction. Cast-iron railings in a Gothic pattern. Entry
on left return is round arched with fanlight, glazing bars
formed in pattern of intersecting pointed and ogee Gothic
arches; architrave to door; the entry in a rounded, rebated
recess. Stack to end wall gable.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Nos 68, 69, and 73-89 Marine Parade (qv) form a group with Nos
1-14 Royal Crescent (qv).
