GV II

House. Late C16 or C17, refronted early C19. Brick with
exposed timber-frame to rear; steeply pitched slate roof with
brick-coped gables and brick end stack. 2-unit plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys plus attic; symmetrical 2-window range.
End pilaster strips. Entrance has moulded doorcase with
cornice to 6-fielded-panel door. Ground floor has canted bay
windows with hipped slate roofs over small-paned glazing, that
to right with opening pane; first floor has 2 windows with
wedge lintels over 2-light small-paned casements; gabled roof
dormer with C20 casement. Rear has square framing with braces;
brick to left end and plastered right end.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Late C20 plaque gives date: 1582.
