Formerly known as: Redding's Farm barn range.
Threshing barn and stable range, now house. C17 with later
nogging and probably C18 stable range; converted to dwelling
c1982. Timber-framed with brick nogging on lias stone plinth,
with reddish-brown brick stable range and plain-tile roofs.
L-shaped on plan with stable range adjoining at right angles
to rear right.
EXTERIOR: long approximately 5-bay range, now with 2 storeys,
with gabled porch with cart doors opposite to former threshing
floor, single-storey stable range. Small, square panels of
timber-framing to barn facades. Casement windows in wood
frames throughout. Entrance to rear range through a C20 plank
stable door. Huge C20 external stepped stack to front at left,
further stack to rear extension. Gabled roofs.
Rear: catslide roof to right; single-storey cart entrance
opposite former threshing floor with double plank doors in
gabled porch.
INTERIOR: extensive exposed square timber-framing, some
renewed, roof has collar-and-tie-beam truss with queen struts.
