Dog kennel to south-west angle of farmyard. C19. Brick laid to
Flemish stretcher bond; old tile roof. Single unit plan,
attached to south end of stable and cow shed (qv).
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. Top modillioned brick cornice. End has 2
round-headed brick kennel entrances opening into brick-walled
run with iron railings and gate to centre of front;
segmental-headed first-floor window. Left return has brick
steps to entrance to upper floor, with plank door in moulded
frame; small entrance to left with grille. Right return facing
yard has low segmental-headed entrance. Gabled roof. First
floor has roof truss with struts, and partition walls.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Believed to have been a kennel for hunt terriers.
One of a group of buildings on 3 sides of the farmyard to the
north of Lower Ingon Farmhouse.
