Farmhouse, now house. C17 with C19 additions to rear and late
C20 restoration. Timber-frame with brick infill on brick
plinth and brick; old tile roofs with brick cross-axial
stacks. Single-unit plan plus cross-wings.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with attic. C20 entrance between large
wings has open gabled porch projecting beyond wings. C20
windows throughout. 4-panel-high square framing. Gabled roofs.
Single-storey range to right return. Left return has framing
to right part only, the rest is brick with plat band and
modillioned brick cornice; C20 segmental-headed window to each
floor and French window to right. Rear has 2 plat bands and 2
gables; central segmental-headed entrance has gabled canopy
flanked by canted 3:2:3-light bays; segmental-headed casement
windows; 2 gables.
