GV II

House. C18 with extensive C20 alteration. Brick with C20
re-building to front; renewed tile roof (replacing slate) with
brick stack to rear of ridge. 2-unit plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 3-window range. Plat band over ground
floor and cornice with wide dentils. C20 door to each end,
that to left with canted bay window with small-paned glazing
to right, both under C20 hipped pentice. Ground floor has
segmental-headed window to right of centre with C20 2-light
casement; similar casements to first-floor windows. Straight
joint with return wall to left end. Rear has catslide roof and
large C20 wing with catslide roof and gabled dormer.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Included for group value with the other items in High Street.
