House, now shops. Early C19. Brick laid to Flemish bond with
painted ashlar dressings; gabled Welsh slate roof with brick
parapets and brick stack to rear.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys; symmetrical 3-window range. Top cornice
and central pedimental gable with relief urn and husk
festoons. 2 shop fronts, those to centre and left are late C19
or C20 double-fronted with frieze and cornice over C20 door
and flanking canted bay windows with colonnettes; that to
right is early C19 with entablature over entrance with
panelled pilasters and brackets to entablature, fanlight with
simple glazing bars over small-paned half-glazed door; window
to left has bowed ends, small-paned glazing with grilles
below.
First floor has central window with sill, and fluted brackets
to entablature over 6/6 sash, flanked by canted bay windows:
that to left is a C20 rebuild; that to right has sill, and
frieze and cornice over 4/4:8/8:4/4 sashes. second floor has
segmental-headed windows with sills and keyed archivolts over
4/4 sash to right, and 2-light casements to centre and left
(replacing sashes).
Rear has 2 half-hipped gabled wings with some sashed windows.
