House, now shop. C17 with mid to late C18 and early C19
alterations and refronting. Brick laid to Flemish bond, some
stucco; gabled Welsh slate roof; some renewed tiles. 2-unit
plan.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys; symmetrical 4-window range with
single-storey, single-unit, wing to right. Wide plat band over
first floor; second floor possibly an addition with plain
brick cornice.
Double-fronted shop front has frieze, coving and canopies over
paired small-paned glazed doors and overlight with flanking
small-paned bow windows; large C20 window to wing. First floor
has tall windows with rubbed brick flat arches over 4/4 horned
sashes in wide flush frames; second floor has square windows
with brick flat arches over 2/2 horned sashes in wide frames.
Rear has C17 gabled wings with exposed trusses.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
