2 houses, now one (incorporating former No.159). Late C17 or
early C18 with later alterations. Timber-frame with brick
infill and painted brick refronting; gabled renewed tile roof
with brick end stack to rear of ridge and stack to rear.
2-unit plan.
EXTERIOR: Single-storey plus attic; symmetrical 3-window
range. Top dentilled brick cornice. Entrance has architrave to
C20 door. Entrance is flanked by 2 canted bay windows with
4/4:8/8:4/4 sashes linked by flat roof continued over
entrance. First floor has gabled half-dormers with 6/6 sashes.
Left return has exposed square framing; short rear wing.
INTERIOR: not inspected, but recorded as having moulded
ceiling beams.
