GV II

House, now surgery and flats. Early C19. Brick laid to Flemish
bond; renewed tile roof with 2 brick stacks to rear.
Double-fronted with end passage.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys; almost symmetrical 2-window range. Top
dentilled brick cornice. Central entrance has Adam-style
doorcase, probably ex-situ, with panelled pilasters,
entablature and open pediment (originally enriched with urns
and swags); 6-fielded-panel door (2 panels glazed);
segmental-headed passageway entrance to left end.
Main entrance is flanked by windows with sills, and rubbed
brick flat arches over 8/8 sashes in moulded frames; similar
windows with horned sashes to first and second floors, those
to second floor square, with 8/8 sashes of squatter
proportions.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
