3 houses, now one house. C17 with C19 additions and
renovations. Small timber-framing with reddish-brown brick
nogging to right and to left return, with some pinkish-brown
brick rebuilding in English bond to front, on Wilmcote
limestone plinth. Steeply-pitched old tile roof. 3-unit plan
with long brick extension to rear.
EXTERIOR: single-storey with attic; 3-window range. Garden
(original) front: 2 C20 plank doors flanked by C20 casement
windows, 2 gabled attic dormers. Ridge and rear stacks.
INTERIOR: to centre a rebuilt inglenook fireplace with renewed
bressumer beam and with C19 cupboard to right reusing probably
C16 pew-end probably from Old Church of St Mary, Chapel Lane
(qv). Some exposed timber-framing to right room, also an
inglenook fireplace with bressumer beam. 2 reused 6-panel
doors.
First floor: wide floorboards. Exposed tie-beams and purlins.
Roof has 3 tiers of collar beams with posts between.
Multi-panel plank door (probably reused from church as before)
with strap hinges.
