GV II

Stable block, now stables and dwelling. Later C18 with C20
restoration. Brick faced with lined stucco; slate roof with
brick stacks. Rectangular plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 5-window range. Top cornice. Rusticated
entrance bay breaks forward under pediment to left of centre
and has segmental-arched opening to recess. Interior of recess
with segmental-headed entrances to rear and to right with
plank doors; inserted garage door to left; right end has
segmental-headed entrance leading to stone stair to 1st floor.
2 windows to left and 3 to right with sills and horned sashes:
8/8 to left and 6/6 to right; 1st floor has similar windows
with 3/3 sashes. Round-faced clock in face of pediment.
Rear of exposed brick with ovolo-moulded brick cornice; hipped
2-storey projection to right of centre; windows to 1st floor
and to projection with stucco rusticated wedge lintels, some
sashes; lateral stack.
INTERIOR: tack room to centre; one partition and plank lining
to C19 loose boxes to left; C19 stalls survive to right
intact; living accommodation to 1st floor.
