GV II

Rectory, now 5 flats. Early C18 with C19 and C20 additions to
rear; altered 1980s. Brick laid to Flemish bond with some blue
headers; parapeted roof with stone ridge stacks. Early
Georgian style. Double-depth plan.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, symmetrical 5-window range. Plat bands
over floors and top ashlar cornice and stone-coped brick
parapet; giant ashlar angle pilasters and pilasters to top
floor, central truncated pilaster over window.
Segmental-headed entrance has key and overlight to small-paned
half-glazed door. Segmental-headed windows have keys over 6/6
horned sashes, 6/3 sashes to top floor; narrow sills, those to
1st floor moulded.
Returns part plastered; C19 rear wing has slate double-gabled
roof and large windows with 12- and 16-pane sashes to return;
C20 entrances and one probably earlier to right return with
fluted pilasters and overlight. C20 single-storey rear block.
INTERIOR: not inspected, but noted as having enriched panelled
window shutters and stick-baluster stair with cut string and
moulded handrail to right return.
