GV II

2 headstones to members of the Phipps family. c1700. Ashlar.
Headstone to left to Ann Phipps, d.1707; shaped top and
inscribed cherub and border to scrolly inscription; partly
buried verse. Headstone to right to Hannah Phipps, d.1703/4,
and John Phipps, d.1690; wide stone with shaped top, damaged
to left end, with low relief enrichment of skull, skeleton
etc; good inscription including verses.
