Barn. C17, with C18 and C19 additions to ends. Timber-frame on
coursed blue lias rubble, with weatherboarding over brick
infill, red brick to right end, rubble to left, half-hipped
renewed tile roof. L-plan.
EXTERIOR: 4:7:2-bay range. East elevation has 2 entrances to
threshing floors with paired doors and smaller entrance to
left end; stone stable addition to left has 2 segmental-headed
entrances, each flanked by segmental-headed windows; addition
to right end has high stone plinth and quoins,
segmental-headed entrance and flanking windows with slatted
ventilation lights.
West elevation has 2 windows to left end; pitching holes with
strap hinges to shutters flanking and between barn entrances;
stone half-hipped wing to right end with segmental-headed
entrance and similar brick addition to end which has stone
south wall.
INTERIOR: trusses with braced tie beams, queen posts, clasped
purlins and collars.
