House. C17 with later alterations. Timber-frame with painted
plaster infill and plinth, some brick to end; steeply pitched
half-hipped thatched roof with tile to left, brick end stacks
to rear and front of ridge. 2-unit plan.
EXTERIOR: single-storey plus attic; 2-window range. Entrance
to left end has renewed plank door in moulded wood frame.
Ground floor has windows with 2-light casements with leaded
glazing, crown glass to left, iron opening casements and
wrought-iron casement fasteners. Eyebrow dormer to right has
small 3-light casement partly with leaded glazing. Square
framing with bracing.
Left return has 2-light window over single-storey extension
with casement and tile roof, gable with shuttered square
opening above C20 porch connecting this item with Tenpenny
(qv). Right return adjoins The Cottage (qv).
