Maypole. C20 on earlier platform of uncertain date. Stone
rubble revetting walls with steps at 3 points to circular
platform approx. 13.5m in diameter. Painted maypole set in
iron housing has running-fox weathervane. It is believed that
this site has been continually used for a maypole since C14 or
earlier.
