House in terrace of five. Early C19. Rendered with stone
dressings, all colourwashed, Welsh slate roof, red brick
chimney stack. Double-depth plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with attic and basement, 2 bays. Plinth,
end pilasters returned as eaves band course. Sash windows in
plain architraves, 16-pane to ground floor bay 1 and 12-pane
to first floor. Entrance in lower bay 2, with 6-panel door
with rectangular fanlight having ornamental glazing, with
stone doorcase in Tuscan pilasters, with paterae, dosserets,
plain frieze, and moulded cornice under a plain central
blocking. Small flat-roofed dormers with slate cheeks and
2-light small-pane casements, cast-iron ogee gutter. Grilles
in pavement to basement. One of a consistent and little
changed terrace.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Nos 1-9 (odd) form a consistent early C19 terrace design.
