Shop. Mid C19. Bath stone ashlar, roof hidden behind parapet.
Neo-Georgian style.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, 4 bays. Late C20 shop front across whole
ground floor, with central recessed doorway, and doorway to
upper floors in recess to right, all under fairly deep fascia.
Upper floors have 12-pane sash windows in moulded architraves,
the first-floor windows having flat hoods in addition. Rear
elevation has steel casements, further flat-roofed rear
extension. Whole of interior of mid C20 rebuild.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Included for the facade's contribution to a significant group
of listed buildings on High Street.
