BORASTON

SO67SW Barn and hop kilns to north-east of
582-1/5/4 Boraston Court

GV II

Barn with attached hop kilns. Late C18. Brick with dentil
course eaves. Plain tile roof. 5-bay range aligned east-west,
with kilns forming end cross-wing.
EXTERIOR: gable fronting street has brick pierced with evenly
distributed vent holes. North side: 4 segmental arched
full-height niches, 3 with diagonal vent holes, one with plain
boarded door inserted. Barn door to centre left within
segmental arched opening. Full-height square opening to right
end linking to cross wing formed of 2 hipped slate-roofed hop
kilns. South side: niches and barn door opening mirroring the
north side.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
