House, now part of hospital. Early C19. Painted rendered
brick, with painted brick to rear. Slate hipped roof with deep
eaves. Brick integral end and lateral ridge stacks. L-shaped
plan with C19 extension wing to left and major C20 extensions
to right.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. South front is a 2-storey 5-window range
of 8/8 sashes with window to right at ground floor replaced by
C20 window and door. Central metal tent-roofed porch with
ornate ironwork columns and 5-panelled door and top-light with
perimeter glazing. 8/8 sash and 4/4 sash at first floor to
left return wing. Scattered C20 and C19 fenestration to rear.
Wing to left incorporates first floor veranda. Large later
additions and extensions to right.
