House, now pair of shops with flats over. C17 with C19 shop
front. Painted brick with dentil course eaves. Plain-tile
roof. Integral gable-end stack. Rectangular plan parallel to
street.
EXTERIOR: single-storey and attic. No.45 to left has
projecting canted double-fronted late C19 shop front with
fascia and blind box over and partly glazed and panelled
central shop door. No.44 to right has projecting C20 shop
window. Gabled semi-dormer to each unit, C19 sash to left and
C20 window to right.
INTERIOR: chamfered lateral first-floor bridging beams with
ogee chamfer stops.
