Cowhouse with hayloft over, barn, cart shed and shelter shed.
C17 with C18 and C19 alterations and extensions. Brick on
stone rubble plinth, timber-framed gables clad in
weatherboard. Corrugated iron sheet roofs but tiles to shelter
shed wing. Continuous range of shelter shed/cowhouse/barn with
additional shelter shed cross wing extension.
Cart shed now shelter shed with single open-bay extension to
cowhouse with brick back and gable walls.
Cowhouse with hayloft: 3-bay range. Evenly-pierced ventilation
holes in brick walls. Various boarded door openings and window
openings.
INTERIOR: double-trenched purlin roof. 2 west trusses with
double collars with vertical struts, cambered tie beams, and
square framing below. Wattle and daub, and oak strip wattle
infill survives. Double collar and twin raking-strut trusses
to east. Inserted floor on large bridging beams.
Barn: brick walls with evenly-pierced ventilation holes in 8
tiers. Open bay adjacent to cowhouse. King-post trusses.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Shelter shed cross wing: C19 4-bay range. 3 open bays and
enclosed loose-box at end. Brick back and gable walls, brick
piers. Single trench purlin roof with twin raking-strut
trusses with swept principals.
