GV II

Landscape feature incorporating plunge bath. Late C18/early
C19. Rubble stone. 3-bay facade to changing room and plunge
bath built against natural bank.
EXTERIOR: retaining walls to each side with stone steps behind
that on right. Central doorway has boarded and ledged
round-headed door in round-arched ashlar surround with pendant
keystone. Flanking windows have projecting sills and round
arches with pendant keystones. Projecting courses form cornice
below coped parapet. The parapet returns to enclose a small
terrace. Retaining walls splay forward and ramp down to each
side.
INTERIOR: lobby entrance with brick arch-vaulted rooms each
side. Changing room to left has niche on back wall. Plunge
bathroom has stone steps leading down.
