Small farmhouse and barn or stable; now dwelling. Probably
early C18; altered. White-painted random rubble, stone slate
roof. Single depth, 1+2 units, on a north-south axis facing
west. 2 low storeys and 1: 2 windows; the 2-window domestic
portion a small gabled porch at the south end with a doorway
in its left side and a window in the front, and two 2-light
casements on each floor; the former barn or stable to the left
has a wide square-headed doorway abutting the junction and a
3-light casement at 1st floor. Small ridge chimney at
junction. South gable end now covered by C19 addition (which
is not of special interest). Rear and interior not inspected.
Forms group with Brookside (qv) and included for its
contribution to a significant rural grouping of buildings.
