Barn. C18, altered. Roughly coursed mixed rubble and boulder

quoins, stone slate roof. Long rectangular range on east-west

segmental-headed wagon doorway with rubble voussoirs, and has
been reduced in width by insertion of masonry and a window;
right of this are 2 windows and a square-headed doorway, and
offset to the right above this is a loading doorway; the
right-hand half has a square window and to the right above
this another loading doorway. Right-hand (east) gable wall has
a course of through-stones, and a doorway near the rear
corner. Front wall appeared in poor condition at time of
inspection (1994), and roof sagging. Forms group with Cautley
Thwaite Farmhouse (qv).
