Small house. Early C19 plus later additions, built for the
Great Western Canal. Stone rubble walls; dry slate roofs;
brick end stacks to original part. Gothick detail. 2-room
plan, extended by 1 bay on the left and by range under its own
roof at the rear.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; original house with symmetrical 3-window
front. 1st-floor openings and doorway have arched heads and Y
tracery, except for window over doorway; old casements with
glazing bars to 1st floor, C20 transomed casements to ground
floor; C20 pair of glazed doors; simple 7-bay open verandah
with glazed roof in front of ground floor; stick balustrades
to end bays.
INTERIOR: has no original features of note.
