House with shop. Early C19 with early C20 shop front. Solid
rendered walls. Slated roof. Red brick chimney on left side
wall, possibly shared with No.19. Base of another on rear
wing. Rendered chimney with old shaped pot on rear roof slope.
Probably double-fronted and 2 rooms deep with centre stair to
right. Low rear wing to left. High courtyard wall to right,
possibly with lean-to buildings behind it.
2 storeys. 2-window range. Ground storey has early C20 shop
front to left, set in segmental-arched opening having eared
architrave and stepped keystone; display windows with plinths
of green glazed tiles; transom-light with coloured leaded
glass. To right a smaller square-headed shop front, also with
eared architrave and plinth of green glazed tiles.
Upper-storey windows have barred sashes: 8 over 8 panes to
left, 6 over 6 panes to right. Small boxed eaves cornice.
Right side wall, facing public alley, has small-paned,
round-arched stair window with radial bars in the head.
Small-paned sashes in rear wall. INTERIOR not inspected.
